Children - Looking for a Forever Family

Kenith

Kenith is a sweet and friendly Filipino male born in 1995.  He loves listening to music and watching television.  Kenith loves dancing and swaying to music despite his physical disability and limited mobility.  According to the caregiver, music puts a smile on his face and brightens up his day.  Kenith is in need of a loving and caring family that will provide him with permanency throughout his adult life.

Kenith is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, severe mental retardation and his general health is good.  He has limited verbal skills, but communicates via gestures and signs.  Kenith uses a walker and wheel chair for mobility, and requires assistance with daily living skills.  He attends an elementary school; however, due to his physical and neurological disabilities he is unable to participate in traditional academic programs.

Kenith maintains occasional contact with his extended relatives, and desires to have a family that will allow him to maintain that connection.

If you are interested in adopting Kenith, please contact the Department of Children and Family services at (626) 229-3790.
